Advent Week 3: Waiting in Action

Depending on the scenario, we often take different approaches to waiting. If it is something we are looking forward to, we wait excitedly, dreaming about how great it will be. If it is something we are dreading, we try to ignore the situation or figure out how we can keep it from happening. But what about when we are waiting for something that is unknown? How do you wait when you ask God, “when?” and after days, weeks, or even years, the answer is still not clear?
As we continue our Advent sermon series we encounter the prophetess Anna who was actively waiting on God.
