September 30th is National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
We want to acknowledge the families who lost loved ones in residential schools across Canada. We continue to pray for the families and take action by educating ourselves on Indigenous history. We commit to listening, learning, and caring. We encourage you to do the same today.
Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) along with our denominational family will gather for a national online service of Remembrance and Reflection.
As a family of faith, we will listen and lament as we face the past. We will also renew our commitments to our brighter, shared future with Indigenous peoples.
Join us as we seek to walk in a good way together.
