John 1:1-18 "The Beginning"
For the Apostle John, the purpose of writing his gospel was “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:31) As such, John begins his message of the good news of Jesus at the very beginning, before the creation of the world. As this next chapter at Crescent Heights begins, we too must be deeply rooted in the Word who is the beginning of all things. As we celebrate all that is starting up again at CHBC, let us be reminded that life is truly found in Him who was there in the beginning.
