God Sends Messengers

Little knowledge is self-derived, more often we learn from others, and as we put learning into practice we realize it is trustworthy and true or we refute and reject it. You become a Christian when people share the gospel of Jesus Christ cogently (in a way that is clearly expressed and is likely to persuade people) with you, the Spirit of God works in your life, and you accept the gospel and practice the ways of Jesus over time. In other words, God makes himself known through the work of his Spirit and the faithfulness of his people, and if you are a Christian, God has called you to be one of his messengers to make him known. This week, Art C. will share how God has called him to be a messenger to make Jesus known, and we will examine the transforming work of God in Peter and Cornelius through the many messengers sent in Acts 10.
