Acts 11:19-26

Acts 11:19-26 “Cross Pollination”   The initial birth and rapid growth of the church was the work of God in and through His people by means of the Spirit. From an obscure collection of disciples, the first-century Jewish world was turned on its head as the body of Christ realized and shared that the Messiah had come. Persecution of these Messiah followers continued to increase and, following the stoning of Stephen, they fled Jerusalem traveling to safer places abroad. However, as they traveled some in their midst realize that this good news is not just for the Jewish community, but for all human kind! They realize that through the cross, the message of the kingdom is to be sown throughout creation.  Join us this Sunday as we continue our series on Acts.
