The spread of COVID-19 is affecting many businesses and ministries close to our hearts. We received unfortunate news this week about the following:
Has laid off the entire staff including Steve Roadhouse. They are hoping to be operational by summer, however, revenue is down significantly with the loss of revenue from off-season rentals. Please be in prayer for the camp and everyone associated with it. Click here for more information.
With the recent updates from the province of Alberta in procedures and closures due to Covid-19, the Hope Mission Hub will also be closing for the time being. All programs and events are cancelled. The safety of our children, staff members, and our volunteers, is one of the factors that we considered in this decision. We are actively seeking out ways we can support our families during this time. We will be getting out food hampers to all the families we are connected with this week. We also will be giving them some fun craft activities and supplies. In the future, we will remain in contact with the families and be offering emergency hampers in the weeks ahead. We will continue to monitor the situation and do what we can to support the families we serve in these difficult circumstances.

Due to Health and Safety procedures and the closure of Crescent Heights High School, we are no longer able to provide brown food bags for the students. We are remaining in contact with the school and have let them know we are available whenever needed. Please pray for the students who may now be going without.
Thank you to those who were eager to volunteer at the school's bike-a-thon fundraiser. The bike-a-thon raises money for the Calgary Children's Hospital and unfortunately has been cancelled due to the social distancing protocols.
Everyone is affected by this in some manner, though we can not physically gather together, we can pray together from afar in our homes. May God of all love, bring you comfort and peace, and may we continue to do all we can for those in need.
